Santa Memory

Yesterday we were in the car coming home from playgroup and Kaitlyn was being abnoxious. I thought it was about the time of year where I could use the "I'm going to call Santa and tell him you are being bad" trick. Kaitlyn said, "When you call him will you ask him to please bring back my pacis? I want my blue paci and my orange paci back!" I was floored that she remembered giving her pacifiers to Santa last Christmas (yes, we put them out on the dish of cookies). I was also shocked that she remembered their colors! I burst out laughing so my "threat" didn't go very far!!

Last Day of Little Gym

Sadly, our Little Gym is closing their doors. Times are tough, and it has really impacted their business. Yesterday the kids had their last classes. Tyler was first and he enjoyed play time with Mommy and Daddy. Kaitlyn performed well during her show - and even had special visitors in the audience - Namma, Grandpa and UB!! Here are a few pictures from the day as well as a video of her bar routine. She is the only student in her class that can pull herself up on the bars! Go Girl!!

Mr. Turkey Song

This is so cute we had to share!!

Playdate

Yesterday we met our friends Margaret, Mary and Matthew at Jumpits for a playdate. The kids
had a great time!

Tyler followed Mary everywhere. He loves her and yells "MMAAARRRYYYY!" So cute!

Kaitlyn and Mary (she jumped up when I took the picture).

Kaitlyn and Tyler had a blast falling into the bean bags. Matthew was running toward me for this shot.

Thanksgiving Feast at School

The kids had their Thanksgiving Feast at school today. We started off with a rally in the gym and then did three laps around the school/church property to raise money for JDRF. A little girl that went to Macland a few years ago had Juvenile Diabetes so they have been a great supporter each year to this family/the organization. Most of the kids didn't understand that it was supposed to be a "walk" and they ran the three laps - Kaitlyn in the lead of course! Tyler and I tried to keep up on the stroller.

We then had a great meal in the fellowship hall of the church. The kids had made really cute decorations for the tables. Kaitlyn and Tyler's "placemats" are laminated pieces of art. They were both so cute I had to share. Some of the other kids "recipes for Turkey" from Kaitlyn's class were hysterical. I'm glad Kaitlyn at least mentioned something healthy - although I'm not really sure where Salad is coming from since she won't eat it!!

Kaitlyn's class also made Indian costumes out of pillow cases. The class looked so cute but I couldn't get to my camera in time so I took her picture once we got home.

Welcome Home UB!!

Yesterday, on Veteran's Day, we welcomed home my brother Brad. Uncle Brad (aka "UB") has been stationed on the USS Columbia, a submarine, in Pearl Harbor, HI. After a 5 year commitment, he has decided to leave the Navy and come home. We are very proud of him and we were all so excited to see him at the airport and have him back home!!

Last week....

Here are a few cute pictures of the kids from last week. They were pretending to nap in Mommy and Daddy's bed. Too bad they don't go to their beds this easily! Tyler has really mastered his "Say Cheese" face as well for pictures!!

The last picture is of Tyler on the potty. He kept telling us he had to go potty and went into the bathroom and climbed on the potty!! It's a little early yet for potty training, but we thought it was cute.

Halloween Slideshow

Here are pictures from the carnival at the kids school and from trick or treating Halloween night. Kaitlyn led the school parade (of course) and Tyler wouldn't walk in the parade without Mommy.
