....and Mommy got some great snuggle time at the end!

Road Trip

Tyler man decided he needed to wear his sunglasses at Publix where we stopped to pick up last minute necessities for the trip (aka CHIPS and JUNK!!) He started the road trip wearing his shades and it lasted about 3 minutes (this is at the drive thru at Chick fil A - I think they were off by the time we left).
The slide show includes various photos from our trip. We stayed with our good friends the Toner's who live just outside of Cincinnati. We had such a great time!! On Sunday we drove to Southern Indiana to visit Perfect North ski/tubing hill. Kaitlyn loved it, Tyler hated it and stayed inside with Mr. Gary. Sunday was also Allen's Birthday so we celebrated with a carrot cake for dessert!! The kids enjoyed playing outside on the playground and trampoline - despite the colder weather.

Here is a video of Kaitlyn tubing - it is hilarious - but a word of warning - she is screaming the whole way down!!

Happy Birthday Allen!!

We celebrated Allen's Birthday on Thursday (he turned 38 on the 15th while we were out of town). Of course we were at Viva Mexico - our favorite Mexican place!! Happy Birthday Allen!!

Pennys Platoon!!

My Mom and I have decided to walk in the Breast Cancer 3-day this October. For those of you who don't know, that is a 60 mile walk over the course of three days to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure and breast cancer research. It is a huge commitment, with lots of training and fund raising involved, but we are very excited! Valentines Day early...

We are heading out of town this weekend so the kids celebrated Valentines Day a bit early with Namma and Papa today......so much fun, thank you!

Beautiful Weekend

It was so nice this weekend - mid 60s!! We took the kids to the park yesterday....

and today they played out front and even co-operated for a mini photo shoot!

Fire Safety Day

It was fire safety day at school last week - the kids loved wearing their hats around so here are a few cute pictures.

yet another slow week...

We've all still been sick, and it's been COLD outside (well COLD by Georgia standards anyway) so we haven't done anything this week. I finally got on antibiotics yesterday and am already feeling better. Maybe this weekend I'll have more exciting stories to post!

One thing I am very excited to share is that my Mom and I are going to walk in the Breast Cancer 3-Day this October in Atlanta. It is a 20 mile walk each day for 3 days. Yes, we are crazy, but it is for a great cause AND for our great friend Penny. Our team goal is $5,000 - which is a lot to raise. I'll be hitting everyone up soon, don't worry!
